Suggestion PVE/PVP:Goals and Objectives of the Player

Now that Herocraft has divided into two worlds

Shrine PVE

Haven PVP

Perhaps Objectives could be placed into both servers?

Like for Shrine perhaps code Dungeons?Maybe a kind of area where players can team up to fight a boss every hour or something along those lines?Since in Shrine you cant really attack each other and are forced to work together.

EX:The Labyrinth.

Create some kind of /Dungeon Join and allow maybe up to 4-5 People per Run?

Everyone enters with their own gear and Items.

Players must fight their way through various Mob Rooms,Dark Chasms,Utilizing their class abilities in order to win.

Through the Dungeon Players may encounter bosses.

EX:Zombraya Lord of the Underworld 2500 HP

:Uses the model of a slightly enlarged zombie Mob

:Wears Gold Armor Prot II Enchanted on each piece

:Fire Resistant

:Could be a Final Boss of the Labyrinth.

At the end.Chests appear equivelent to the amount of players and a sign that allows them to teleport out.Back to their original Cords.

The chest could contain anything from Souls to sell at spawn to materials to enchanted items,Etc.

Each player would only be capable of opening 1 chest.


For SHRINE

Perhaps a Domain Area of the Map where players can divide into teams to fight over territory.

There are beacons scattered around the domain in which Whatever team in control of them gains bonuses.

Just some thoughts.

Just some thoughts.

I think that's really something, like sorts of "Instances" but not quite.

Have a few areas, well defined, sealed and limted, featuring a set numbers of entrances, these areas would contain "objective points", areas that when reached, would reward the town from which the player group is issued. Once completed by one of the competing player groups, These playzones would send both the losing and victorious team back to their respective entrances. The playzone would then be closed for a set amount of time, depending on the difficulty of the trial. Upon closure, the traps and blocks inside the zone are reset so that every team always faces the same challenge.(Using worldedit schematics and worldguard regions, you can have both "advventure parkour" and building inside the zone)

The victorious team gets a buff for a set amount of time, for example, a 15 minutes speed I boost, a mining speed boost...etc. Maybe even a small xp boost?

To guarantee fairness in the trials, both of the teams must face the same challenges to the objective, in the sense that the arenas have to be built symmetricaly relative to the objective point and the location of the entrances.

By having the winning player group get a buff for his own town, even the players not present at the instance(but online) , you'd promote town competitivity serverwide, players that aren't in towns will need to join up, and pvp also, by having some areas featuring a necessary or inevitable fight between the two teams. (like a king of the hill).

Like super, these are just a few thoughts, tell me what you think.

I mean considering the large amount of space and quite a bit of it is unoccupied by towns or people.

The Pvp Territory could work.

Towns could fight over control within the Domain Area.Even forming little alliances with each other for mutual benifit.

In the area you are unable to attack players within the same alliance as you.

Alternativley a seperate area could be created for this.Maybe even a seperate world with a nexus portal?
