Bug Problem with new Texture Pack

Ever since the new texture pack was installed sometime this morning, I have been seeing weird pink and black boxes taking the place of parts of trees, as well as other items. I will include a photo as proof. Please advise.

Reverted it while we investigate a cause.

iirc it's the game seeing an incorrect block ID (This happens when farmers get extra drops from Woodcutting on logs or leaves), so it defaults to this texture. People used to go around selling/wearing these blocks. I have a few in a chest of mine.
