could have something reply to a user.. where the inquire about item

ask server price check redstone

and server responds with what its currently going for or what it was last sold for

ect..

might cause lag if it has to read a database tho..

and it may have already been suggested.

This has not been implemented, but until then this is pretty useful, and reasonably accurate

yeah i need something in game.. alot of users dont alt tab out or for those that have dual monitors, and then the trade chat price check questions have been going unanswered too often.

Would be neat, but the problem is that Kainzo wants the trading system to be completely player run. A fixed price list wouldn't help much, since you'd still have to sell it for whatever someone is willing to pay. If noone replies to your price check, throw the stuff back in your chest, and keep doing what you're doing, they'll notice eventually.

yeah well i understand he wants it player run, hence why you could query the server and see what the last item went for. how ever cheap or overpriced it may be. not looking for a fixed price list like in forums. game and market fluctuates too much for a thread to have set prices.

and again not talking bout my tradeing.. i have seen way too many player ask in server with 109 players on, price check on this.. AND NO ONE REPLIES not one.. that is sad.
