So, there a few potions that Alchemist are able to create but the effect of the doesn't work. There are two potions I know that don't work. I'm wondering if these effects can be fixed so that they actually work?

Potions I know that don't work.
Strength potions
Regeneration potions

Technically, they 'work'.

Its the same as how smite only adds one extra damage. They work off of vanilla MC values.
From what I have heard, not much can be done about it at the moment.

Yeah, I remember that being the issue in the past, just wanted to know if anything changed where it was capable of being played around with. I guess I'll just live with the potions that we have now that do what they should.

When I made a strength II it said it gives 260% attack damage so I tried it and nothing seemed to change with my attack damage. Strength potions would make it easier to kill people probably which would be a reason I can live without it.

would be cool if some of the broken potions could be coded to be hero specific "spells / skills" when drank, but dunno how difficult / time consuming that would be.

Like strength could be "increased all damage dealt by 20% and makes you 50% larger for 20 seconds. or something.

It is not my desire to make these potions worthwhile due to how much influence they have on certain classes. The balance issues are many and the gameplay value they add is low. I personally do not think they are necessary for Herocraft at this time. Kainzos thoughts may differ, but I know that he is at least not interested in making them as potent as they are in vanilla.

Enchants are different we actually have a system in place for enchant damage values. Enchants within vanilla MC actually have slight variation in the damage output and are fairly random in damage when you have higher values. Our enchants are exactly +1 per enchant level. Whereas potions are indeed vanilla values for the most part with the exception of healing potions
