100 damage on arrows out of dispensers? I picked a hell of a time to switch out of Engineer.

Does this mean that when a player sells souls to a chest shop, they will only receive 95% of the sale price? And is this tax effective on the exchange chest shops also?

Or maybe the merchant pays the tax? So if 10 redstone is 2s, the merchant gets 1.9s instead of 2?

It goes both ways.

If I sell 1 diamond to a shop for 100s, I will get 95s.
If I buy 1 diamond from a shop for 100s, the owner gets 95s

So what's the thinking behind the tax? Is there too much liquid currency in the economy already?

The thinking is only two things in life are certain...
Herocraft clearly has plenty of death, apparently taxes was getting jealous

The merchant takes the hit, not the player.

It's the tax for having a fully automated shop system. It's not super high.
