No, it took 5 stamina.

Great news!

However, I logged into HC today using the normal MC client/browser, and when I did so, I wasn't greeted with the /login (Password) message, or anything with any relevance to that. Is this a bug or has the feature been removed for a short period of time?

They only need Xauth when te server goes into offline mode when Mojang "drops the ball"

I dont think this was mojang's fault entirely from what kainzo said in his post, they cant fix mojangs dns issue from herocrafts data center

This 100% was mojang's fault, they switched DNS servers and ips without telling anyone what to. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but for some servers with advanced security, changes must be made to account for the unstated changes.

It really shouldn't happen again, but it's one of those things that blind side you.
