I'm on a plane to Norway in 5 days, and I live in the same region as the suspected terrorist group.

I actually live close to that, though I'd feel even safer in a far away colony like Svalbard (near Arctis) or Queen Maud's Land (Antarctis)

Russia is also increasing its efforts in ukraine and Israel-Gaza conflict is leaving more and more dead every day. What has the world come to!?

My odds seem to be pretty shitty. This could be the third time I experience terrorism.

I was in Palma Nova (town in Spain) when terrorists set off a bomb downtown, killing 2 people. This was in 2009

I live 20 minutes away from the island where 69 teenagers were massacred in 2011 right after the terrorist attack in Oslo that killed 8 people.

Now there's a terror threat from a group located within 40-50 kilometres of where I live.

People who read fear provoking news headlines and change their lives in an attempt to hide from a very remote possibility of something that theoretically could happen. You could walk out your front door and trip on the steps and fall backwards landing your head on the pavement killing you,. Are you going to avoid walking down your front stairs if you read a news headline warning you that 57 people died this year while trying to walk down their front steps? Would you instead try jumping in and out of your bedroom window in an attempt to keep yourself safe?

Don't live in fear, because it's not really living. Live your life in joy, while being conscious to your surroundings and you will be happier and safer then you would be hiding in a hole.

Yes and 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the people on the planet will not die to "terrorists."
There are certain places in our world that are very dangerous and you do have a high chance of violence, like Chicago IL USA. People still live there. They just have to be alert and not be stupid and their chances of being a victim of violence is still low.
