I saw this mod on the minecraft monday show

. What it does is it allows you to open books and write in them and it support multiplayer. If you want you can use this thing to make epic events where you have to search for clues or leaving hints in dungeons.

Here is a new mod !!!! @Kainzo check it out. I like the grab and dive animation because it gives more varites during raids or in dungeons (or you can make custom dungeons for this mod)

I would love to see balkon's weapon mod implemented. It would open up a HUGE amount of possibilities for each class. For instance, dragoons could actually use diamond spears and halberd instead of shovels. It has a bukkit plugin right now for 1.8, but the 1.0 version is not out yet.

That would require a client mod and client mods are a no no.

Are you sure? It say's there is a bukkit plugin. And even if you have to have it client-side, it's totally worth it. Most of the people on HC are already using the HC modpack. This can added to it. And then all players would have to use the modpack. Think of it as a test of "Minecraft know how". Those that can't figure it out can be taught via IRC or PM's. I would volunteer to teach people how to install mods, if thats what we need to do.

Yes, it is compatible with bukkit but that does not make it so that it doesn't require a client mod.

Also, last I heard, Kainzo does not want to make people install a mod just to play on the server.

Word on the street is that it is in the works. Once you have the client you wont need to worry bout this kind of stuff because (I think) the client will contain what is required to play.
