I have really been missing the NPC quests that we once had. If I understand correctly, they were removed to help with the lag issues, but I had an idea that might work. Would it cause problems for the server to have one NPC require all of the components once asked for by the other quest NPCS and then exp/coin reward be equal to the amount we used to get? For example. we talk to NPC Bob and he wants 15 leather, 10 bone, 5 fish, ect ect ...
The quest element is one of the major draws I had to the server and while I still enjoy playing, I also miss gathering and collecting items for daily turn ins. I don't do much mining, and it was a major source of income for me. For many players, it was part of a routine that makes quite a difference.
