So of late i havnt been on minecraft too much an when i have its been very brief jumping and and what seemed at the time lagging across the screen. The reason for that is that my pc is having some fan trouble, making a loud noise. At 1st i thought it might be because i haven't cleaned the inside for so long so the fan has got all clogged up with dust but it turned out to be very clean considering lol. So i then did a Temp diagnostic and lo and behold there was my problem my:

GPU: 75c
Core 0: 70c
Core 1: 68-70c

So it seems im having some temperature problems.

Not all bad tho i have an extended warranty on it so im booking an engineer to come check it (free of charge of course) And by the looks of it this model is no longer made so i will either be getting a more up to date version or my £1500 back if that the case i will be building my own gaming pc, hopeful worthy of being posted on "my pc setup" thread lol.

I do a lot of work for the army so waiting for my fan to blow up is not an option lol. Ill be back soon enough with a better pc. And those temps might be ok for you US boys but they are not for us UK chaps.

Since you're in the UK, I'm guessing you're using the common measurement.....Celsius. "c"

This is what you're saying:

GPU: 75c = 167f
Core 0: 70c = 158f
Core 1: 68-70c = 154f-158f

There's no way in hell your shit didn't just melt. Haha.

My old ATI GPU has hit 80f before, which is 26c.

Most graphic cards have a "boiling point" of around 125c (give or take). Thats when permanent damage is possible, or expected. Temperatures beneath this point can still cause problems, artifacting, shut-downs etc.. these temps differ from card to card.

You can go up to 80c or a little more and it can be considered normal. 90c might be a bit too high, for 100c definitely consider aftermarket cooling, or some better thermal paste.

Sounds like its something else causing problems, temperatures about up to 75C is fine. My desktop keeps normally around 70C when playing Minecraft and everything is fine. Now when i say desktop, i have an all in one which means the entire computer is on one board. If your having framerate lag issues, I'd say get an engineer to take a look as its most likely the video card having some issues or something happened to java. Either way, I hope that your problem is solved no matter what it may be.

NO YOUR CITIZENSHIP IS NULLIFIED! MWAHAHAHAH
jkjk
You will remain a citizen of Rens, maybe not on the active citizen list when Brutal audits you, but you will remain inactive until you log in. Your name will still stay on the list however until you quit. Your house will remain untouched and dust will accumulate as it isn't being cleaned, but non the less, until we don't hear from you for 3 weeks or more, you will always remain a citizen of Rens.

Ok update and prob last for a while lol. Engineer is going to be here within the hour of me typing this. Spoke to him on the phone while he sat in traffic and of course we were talking about the problem and off the bat he says "90% chance the pc will have to come away with me by what you have told me and what you have described is a common problem in this model of pc hence why they are no longer made. So you will either get a replacement/fixed pc or your money back"

Anyway i will be back i have no idea how long it will be gone because the engineer has to do a quote for the insurance firm then they have to decide weather or not to replace it or give me my money back.

Until then i wish you all the best and enjoy heroes.....bastards and i will see and be back soon. Promise

Kainzo and staff keep up the grand work you guys rock (Brown nose )
