Bug Ninja shears

I am not certain if it's actually a bug, or more just something that hasn't made it into the coding yet, but here it is. Kainzo said in a recent post that Ninjas can now use shears as weapons dealing damage somewhere between iron and diamond swords (not certain of the value). A few issues I've run into though:

Envenom does not appear to work with shears, though I think it could, as Bards can use it with their discs and such, If I am not I mistaken.

I am not certain yet, as I have not done much testing, but for similar reasons as the above, Backstab and/or Eviscerate may not function with shears either at this stage, as they were designed to be used with swords.

Anyway, like I said, I'm not cure this is truly a bug, if this just hasn't been integrated fully yet, or if this was by design.
As an aside, can you enchant non-standard minecraft items? Like music discs and shears? Perhaps with an anvil, though I don't know if those are functioning yet either. xP

You can force enchants onto anything when you have the server side tools.
Also, even in vanilla you can grab a silk touch book and put it on shears. Just that anvils aren't allowed here.

I believe backstab is working with Shears, haven't tested Envenom though.

I can confirm that Eviscerate does not work with Shears. Pretty annoying as I have to carry an extra iron sword into battle just to eviscerate

I thought backstab was, but I couldn't be sure. I know Envenom wasn't, and I can't test Eviscerate yet, so thanks for that.

Also, the damage value for shears isnt shown in /hero tools
