Hello there disposable heroes, I write this to you because of the current imbalances of heroes and some other issues.
FIrst off, this plugin is making the server the best one I can imagine, since it adds more gameplay options, RPG elements, and most important, balance. After you reach level 50, you can specialize to a special class, wich has more options and skills, the main reason why you choose a path.
But many members now told me, and I fell the same, that you get a little bored during the leveling, mining, pvping, or whatever you do. Also many people think it should be rewarded to level up their main path, so most of the people want more skills for the basic paths like warrior and rogue etc..
You could maybe add passive and/or active skills wich add more fun to level and play, for example another skill for rogues, since their only one skill is most of the time passive, you could add something like a speed boost. I thougt of more spells for basic mages, and some health/armor/damage buff for warriors. It would make our time spent on the server even more fun, even if we dont have specialized yet. There even were some guys who quit playing before they even reached level 50, because they got bored. So without such additional skills, you could just make 1 big level with a 150000 exp cap after wich you can specialize. I mean at the moment the levels have no meaning until you specialize, theres no difference between a level 1 rogue and a level 49 rogue, in my opinion that should be different and one of the main things to work on.

The second thing why I write to you is, that the armor of some classes is absolutely overpowered. I'm not just saying "PALADIN OP ZOMGGTFOWTFWTFWTF", but I want to mention that you have no real chance in a 1v1 fight against somebody in armor. Even if you use a diamond sword, you need at least about 6 hits for somebody, and if he uses food, more than 8. What I want to say with that, you can give ninjas as many diamond swords and rangers as many bows as you want, you wont have a chance against a paladin or a dragoon fighting with diamond armor, even iron armor is very hard to fight against. The only hope you can have is, that you are 4 people all coming from behind, and I think that is not the meaning of balanced gameplay.

All in all, I really enjoy playing on this server, it's not just heroes, not only the perfect town ring system, no, also the community is one of the best i've ever played with. Thank you for your time,

I'm not sure if I agree that the grind is "boring", though I won't argue that people feel bored about it from time to time. To level, I mine and hoard all the stuff I get from mining, eventually building houses in cities once they become more established. Basically, exactly what I've been doing on Herocraft the whole time, except now, since I'm a healer, I can carry a stack over paper around with me and live forever in the mines. Is it taking forever to spec? Yeah, but I'm not worried about it. Specialization will come when it comes, and until then, it still feels like I'm playing Minecraft Premium.

Arguments about imbalance seem mostly vacuous. Are some classes stronger then others? Yes, sometimes laughably so. Does that mean they're imbalanced? I'm gonna say no. Again, I'm a healer, right? So when I see a paladin in full armor or a Bloodmage coming at me, if I can't start a friendly conversation I run the other way, bandages in hand. I'm under no illusions that I should be able to hold my own in 1v1 PvP, or even 2v1, given a powerful enough opponent. My role is purely supportive, and any attempts to go solo against a fighting class are folly. I think you'll find that in, say, 4v4 combat under the current Heroes settings, the game will display for you entirely new facets of balance and harmony.

Please splice the skills you want from the wall of text, whilst I do care about the server, I do not care much about balance and/or your reasons.

I like how Doreagarde mentioned 4v4 combat.

All i can imagine is.... 8 guys flailing their swords around mindlessly. Balance and harmony ftw.

Dore - Isnt (EDIT: Ninja) for example a pure pvp class? So why isnt in imbalanced that they dont have a chance against diamond armor wearing paladins?

Now imagine a wizard, a cleric, a paladin, and a thief. Two teams of the same classes. Keep in mind the lowered damage so that battles last longer. Now imagine the lightning shooting down, the Paladin crashing through everyone, the thief sneaking around, and the cleric healing people. x2.

Isn't Rogue a starter path? Then why is it imbalanced if they don't have a chance against a warrior specialization?

sorry I meant ninja.
Good question, actually. Ninjas are masters of stealth and dealing death from the shadows. They have the "Crystal Katana" on their side, but that's not enough to guarantee victory against a Paladin in full diamond armour. As a Rouge specialization, you have accepted the role of a player who must never be off their guard, which means that you may never let the Paladin get the drop on you. If the Paladin finds you first and chooses to fight, you will lose, 9 times out of 10. You must be watching the Paladin from the shadows, deciding how and when to strike. Opening with some Stars at long range and then pulling out the Katana when they charge is not a good strategy. Use the environment to your advantage: walls and chasms, high cliffs and other dangerous elements, darkness. Follow them, and strike when the time and environment are right. Remember Sun Tzu: "Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win."

Very good Point. What I meant with the post is, that Even if you come from behind, and Strike Let's say 4 Times with your katana, the Paladin will still Not die. The Paladin just Takes 2 Mushroom soups and steiles back, you just cant kill a normal Player with Diamond armor. If ninjas could at least use Chainmail!
