There is a new official list of mods for herocraft that is located here.

Please take some time and review this list and make sure that any mods you have installed are listed under the allowed mods, if they are not you are required to remove them.

Optifine for 1.8.1 is legal to use. There are a couple of other mods that people have suggested that I will try to test and possibly add to the list later today.
