New class suggestion. [Replacement class]

ALRIGHTY!I am proposing a new combat class to replace the fallen "Crafter" class and the Crafter specializations that will be obsolete in v2.8.0. I thought about this for about a week ago and only started to work on it three days ago, so anything that you think is overpowered, underpowered, useless, or just overall boring please comment. This class (To the best of my understanding) will be all of the following:
-Balanced.
-Useful.
-Fun to play.
-Have four specializations.
-MAKE. SENSE.
-Be interesting.
-And overall be a major difference in the server. (If implemented)

This class is named the: Combatist.
The Combatist is the pith of a fighter, someone who by all means wants to eradicate everything in their path.
Where the warrior is focused on skillfully using a sword to cut down his enemies. The Combatist uses his fists to knock huge dents in armor. They focus more on training endurance and strength other than stealth or defense. Whether it is knocking a foe into confusion, or kicking their enemies into their grave, Combatists know how to dish out what is due.
The skills are fairly simple to remember and not so hard to use. They are the following:

Dazepunch lvl. 10 - The caster punches the foe doing 6hp damage and confusing him for two seconds. Mp & Cooldown - 33MP, 20 seconds.

Mark and Recall lvl. 20 - Using an Iron ingot you can mark a teleportation point for the other skill recall.

Chi lvl. 30 - You are not poisoned by food. (Still having the same saturation - http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Food) Passive.

Dropkick lvl. 40 - The user jumps up and down onto the target (Not the same as Jump in distance or length.) dealing 10 damage. MP & Cooldown - 50MP, 35 seconds.

As for weapons and armor - He can hold up to all of the accessories in leather and can only wear golden boots. His weapons WERE intended to be just his fists but that can be pretty difficult to code, so I'm thinking of other possible weapons. ( Maybe a piece of iron? :Brass Knuckles: Or leather? :Fist gloves: )

Since this post is getting a little bit long I will post another one on specializations, for now here are the names for the specs.

- Salient (I'm thinking of changing the name to Acrobat.)
- Sumo (Wall of meat)
- Duelist (Melee duelist)
- Avatar (Elementalist melee.)

Quick message for the specs. I'm still working on most of their skills and researching on how to make them sort of "Connect" with the other classes. So far, so good. My only problem would be thinking of skills and how to "Not take their roll", or "Totally dominate" with any of the other classes, yet still maintaining a fun class. IT'S HARD. D8

Thank you for reading this all the way through I can tell this sounds pretty neat to most, and I'm having fun doing it. I know that if I actually put some work into studying and hypothesizing on what these classes could be and how they interact with the other classes/world, I might create something worthwhile and pretty awesome and maybe even have a high chance in getting them (At least glanced at.) implemented.

I love the idea, but just remember, you are doing something very similar to donnymeyer (just a lot better :p ) you are trying to make a whole new path out of something there is a spec for; the Monk.

However your ideas do seem well thought out and balanced, so i quite like it :p

Crafter path isn't going anywhere - It's just being re-organized to be used in conjunction with the Combat-paths.

I know that the Crafter class isn't actually being scrapped, it's just not going to be an actual class to be. Which is why I was proposing a new combat class so that people have a wider range to choose from y'know? Instead of just four, you now have five combat classes. I also didn't forget about the crafter professions yet!

Where the warrior is focused on skillfully using a sword to cut down his enemies.

I'm sorry, I have to point out this fact. Warriors don't only use swords. Samurai - Diamond Sword. Paladin - Diamond Sword. Dreadknight - Diamond Axe. Dragoon - Diamond Shovel.

You seem to have put in good effort into this! However, I do agree that you are making an entire path out of the monk spec. Think in terms is archetypes. Each path should fit a distinct archetype that differs it from the others.

Warrior -Traditional physical combat
Rogue -nontraditional physical combat
Caster -offensive magic
Healer - defensive magic

While the monk and bloodmage have a slew of offensive skills, they still can heal allies, placing them as healers.

You would have to think of an archetype that differes from those four. Myself, I can't really do it.

However, some of these may be good suggestions for monk skills!

They still have the same exact choices. Only we're not limiting people. Love the suggestions - just don't think we'll be opening up 4 new classes.
