Necromancers - Wizards and the Nether

Ok I love heroes and you guys are doing a brilliant job - however there is one significant issue I am raising today and that is the issue of Wizards group teleport working in the nether.

I don't have an issue with it its fine on the overworld. Its more the fact that I have to spend 6 enderpearls and considerable time WALKING to my party just to hellgate a group to the nether - so naturally I'd want at least 100c for the effort.

HOWEVER. The issue arises when wizard over here puts his mark in the nether , recalls to it - starts spamming trade channel with "port to nether 45c!" - it costs him 1 Slimeball yes thats right 1 paltry slimeball - and he can pull them from WHEREVER they are - 0 effort required.

Necromancers are out of a job here. May as well shelve hellgate.

I believe Wizards should NOT be able to group teleport in the nether.

Keen to here some responses to this

as a wizard myself, i do have to agree with reed here, not to mention that we get group port at lvl 30 and necro's have to wait until lvl 50 for hellgate.

if at all possible i say remove group port working the in the nether. however it should STILL work to pull people from the nether, to a wizards group port in the overworld.

There's a fix in the future coming for this, it isnt ready.
Hellgate will be the only proposed method in/out of the nether. GroupTeleport will be bumped up to a higher level to address this in the interim.

Does that mean that recall won't get you into or out of the nether. You'd have to have a necro port you in and out again?

What about having a command that everyone can use as a 'last resort'. Basically the same as /kill but it sends you back to spawn in the overworld instead of the spawn in the nether. You would leave your entire inventory in the nether but at least you can get out if you are thoroughly bored with being trapped in the nether.


Also: any chance of reducing the enderpearl requirements?
It's quite time-consuming just finding enough endermen to get 6 (if we are going to need 12 every time, 6 in + 6 out, I think I may cry)

6 pearls does seem steep to me. Is there a way to make it 1 per party member? Otherwise, 4 or even fewer sounds better, particularly when you consider that you can't get pearls in the Nether.

I'd say make hellgate the only means to enter or leave the nether. course make it so u can recall out. or else the poor young ones without coin would be trapped forever.. ;) Cause opening a portal to hell shouldnt be easy or cheap. the 6 enderpearls both ways aint too much.

100% agreed - As far as coding it goes @Kainzo @Sleaker are you able to "detect" what world they are in? if so just disable GTP in the nether :3
