Well, Xanipher said it was not really legal, so I will be improving it, because I remember Jw saying there was a way!!! I will find it!

Never grinded in it, just made it today Kingtom, assuming like always.
If you don't assume some things you will never move on un life. You assume your going to get that paycheck, is that wrong?

We havent come to a decision on this. If mobs cannot attack you, you can deal damage but not receive - its against the current rules.

we want players to go out and fight monsters not camp them in a 2x2 area. Once we have the spawner rules under control we'll be moving the exp of mobs to be a tad more.

P.S. The Training Grounds that Wizards can teleport to is USELESS. Its a death trap, you got there, all the spawners activate, and you get gang raped by all sorts of monsters at the same time. How is this a training ground at all? Its a sacrificial pit of DOOM is what it is I tell you! :p

That depends if you use it properly, the Training grounds is sapposed to be a party traning area. A druid or Cleric should be able to mitigrate the damage a paldin is tanking while a wizard and rogue slice and dice for kills. All while a Smith is in the back room reparing armor for the paladin to re-use.

Though i will say since taunt doesnt keep aggro on you and will switch back to the attacker as soon as they attack, and has ridiculous mana consumtion for what it does their are some balancing issues. Heals prob arnt enough to mitigrate the damage of more than 2 or 3 mobs and mana will become a problem fairly fast.

I suggest that the admins get together and choose max level specs of diffrent kinds to test out the testing grounds ad try to balance the classes from that. That and make taunt only use like 1 mana so it can be spammed and paladins can actually tank multiple mobs:rolleyes:

Learn to duck and dodge:rolleyes:, and kite, always remember to kite, i stoped using skelly spawners because its easier to make a big room and kite zombies in circles, same thing i did in cod:waw to get to the 50's in solo zombies:cool:

That really is the entire leveling issue there, JW. Getting all of the skills to a spot where they all work good but are not OP.

If a tank could actually keep full aggro of nearly every mob in an area while a healer or two heals them frantically then fighting mobs as a group would actually work.

The real biggest problem is not having warmup timers that break on movement, with those you could properly have high ass heals without them being OP and mages could do nice burst damage without being overpowered.

This way, healers wouldnt be able to heal themselves in battle as much but can provide great support to where having a healer or not will make or break your team

I say stop making skills, and start working on that and a quest system(dont kill me kain:oops:)

Yah Jw because everyone has 7 friends they cam trust and are completely reliable. Plus they are all those specs.

People don't need to be your close friends or completely reliable. Just find a group of people and go train, everyone wants experience....They won't get more by killing you once then they would if they worked hard in the party and helped kill thousands of mobs.

And that system would crash if they are not fully reliable, the paladin would go first, the all the rogues and warriors then the healer. Then they would gangbang the smith.

That's the point of asking to have agrro stay, the smith wouldn't get targeted if agrro stayed... Also alot of classes have been balanced for PVP, not PVE ,why can't we just have different damage against just mobs? Like make players have default armor against player attacks so you do less damage against players but don't get owned at spawners... On my phone so if this message doesn't make sense Iwill fix later, iPhone's suck for typing on the web...

EDIT: Man, I try to at least have decent grammar, but my phone is just a pain to type on... and also my keyboard got changed to Spanish... again...

See I wake up this morning and i decide to train, and i see this crap.

First image is the message Bearcat left, after I got permission from Kainzo himself to keep the spawner as it was! Why are the admins/mods contradicting him? Where is the rule about this? the skeletons do hit and kill you QUITE often! If anybody says they don't hurt you in there, they haven't used this spawner design to train themselves and are being ignorant.

The second image is Bearcat's grief on the spawner (if its not grief because hes a admin/mod, then call it w/e you like but to me its grief) and making the spawner 3 blocks high again. THERE IS NO WAY TO TRAIN LIKE THIS!

Someone PLEASE give me answers to wtf is happening?

I am mad yes because this is the second time this happens and I had to wait a good while for Kainzo's response the first time just to see that they were wrong.

I really hope you admins don't ban me or something for speaking my mind on this subject. I am NOT slandering any admin/mod, just don't like the contradictions that are happening.

I'm not sure how easy the staff want levelling using mobs to be. Right now, it isn't easy, short of a spawner and a controlled area; preferably with a nearby bed, or plenty of food.

But going out to fight spiders/creepers is very likely to net you a decrease in your overall exp; spiders are ridiculous, you can't even run from them. Might not be an issue for those that got their skills mastered before the mob buff/food nerf but for a new player it's not a sensible option.

So yeah, I think that using spawners to level should be fine, given the guidelines I already thought were in place. So long as they can fight back, it's okay.

Also, that sucks that it was removed.
At the very least you'd expect a discussion and clarification if 2 admins have a different opinion on the matter.

I agree, thats exactly why I use spawners. But now with this unwritten rule floating around and the admins/mods lack of communication, they are doing what they want, and not getting together and actually coming to a solution or conclusion to this situation! The keyword here is what kainzo said

They have not come to a decision on this. The mobs can clearly attack you and kill you often, so why is this issue being pressed?

Why is it everything is changing now? How do you think all the grandmasters and masters in the game got their levels? I don't understand why this is an issue NOW and why when i was going for level 50 necro before at Newerth's double skeleton spawner, nobody said anything. Hell, Kainzo sat there for a while and saw us train and said everything was ok about that spawner!(and maybe die there too)
