Monks should be able to use wooden hoes

Monk is a healing class.

Healers use hoes.

Monks should get wooden hoes.

Thoughts?

ps. Im posting bc I want to make a zen garden to meditate in and I cant hoe dirt monks gotta meditate

Hoes = staffs unless I'm mistaken. But could see the value in allowing wooden ones for hoeing, or even stone like normal. If monks are decent with anything weapony it would be farm tools.

Healers, like clerics, use Diamond Hoes.
Monks get Bo-staff (a stick) which presumably has some dmg boost idk. This isnt about Pvp or Pve though.

Jussayin', if a Monk was good with a weapon it would be a farming implement. I agree with you about the main issue, Monks need their hoes.

we may allow wood/stone just for the sheer practical use aspect.

1.8 is out in 20 minutes. I just updated, and Im messing around with my food bar. Depending on how heroes handles the hunger bar, monks may NEED to be able to farm to be balanced, which I imagine will fall right in with the new dual spec direction HC is thinking about going in.
