Mana regen, or mana stuffs?

Since we have a fair amount of hp regen, healing items and stuffs, i wonder if it's possible to add mana regen, should not be instant replenishment but over time effect.
I have in mind to use the raw fish to activate this effect, since not many are fishing atm, and doing this will add more fun to the game where you don't feel time is wasted when fishing.

Because what is more RPG than asking your friends on HC: "hey wanna go fishing?"

Mana regen is automatic, and a bard can give 30% faster regeneration to a party as a buff.

i will grant you that its a cool idea and all but if casters have more mana regen they will be beyond op.

expirience to back my claims up:
lvl 44 necro
lvl 43wizard
and i am now a 20 something thief.

the only thing holding casters back at this point is mana regen, and trust me i know it sucks waiting for mana to regen while leveling, its worse waiting for hp to come back as a melee.

but there are healing potions that melee can use... casters should have something similar too

casters - mana regen, replenish, and consume. Thats more than enough even casters can use healing potions.

I've heard that Consume is kind of useless, actually. What's going on there? I'm not level 30 yet so I don't know from experience. :p

consume for a wizard is in fact very pointless. its on a 30sec cd and only gives us 10 mana...

sure it'll give us an extra fireball but that's it.

So just for Wizards, then. And it only takes 4 seconds to cool down on plain Caster? I mean, Replenish is a thing that exists, but that's once every two minutes and it takes half your stamina.

What if Consume gave like 50% with a 30-second cool down, for all classes?

When I was Geomancer Consume was awesome, I just cast a spell then spammed my bind till it worked :p

We have ways of mana regen... Mana is the only thing keeping us from complete OP

Consume is great... it will keep up with you fireballs most of the time if you get it everytime its up as soon as its up.

ummmm no? fireball has maybe a 2 sec cd if that. thats 15 fireballs in the span of 30sec if mob grinding. that is MORE than the amount of mana you have.

in a fight, sure an extra 10 mana will be useful one way or another, but there is NO way that consume can keep up with the use of fireballs.

I mean in pvp... i know consume does keep up with mob killing....

in pvp you shouldnt be spaming fireball ever time its up...
