Suggestion Make SiC's Great Again

Canadia! why else would I be so friendly?
Hey, so I've noticed after playing since launch as the Second in Command of the township Ybiewen that there are quite a few things permissions-wise that prevent me from acting as SiC. Sometimes the mayor isn't available so as SiC I would think I should be able to fill the role that is missing as best I can in their leave.

The first thing is that I can't promote people as SiC. I don't know if that is intentional or not, but I can't promote anyone to any role in town which is kind of a set back in some cases.

We haven't had to set up plots and prices quite yet and that would be nice to have, but I do realize that's probably what bankers or exchequers would do (based on the wiki there are only exchequers so far, I'm not entirely sure that table is up to date though).

Generally I'm just asking if the SiC position could have more permissions to be more comparable to the mayor, while not taking the role itself. Most of the time, I would assume that the SiC position is given to the a trustworthy person that the mayor wishes to run the town with as Second in command. I think based on that SiC should be able to do everything the mayor can do, except promote to mayor or demote the mayor pretty much. I feel like that's what the role is supposed to be, just as much authority and power as the mayor, while not having the title of mayor. Kind of like a backup mayor if needed.

Anywho, that's my suggestion. Any thoughts?

I think promoting people to your own rank is not ok, It kinda doesn't make sense Hierarchy wise. You control the people below you not lateral to you. Plus permission are still buggy until recently a SiC was able to kick a mayor out (I did this), and destroy the towns perms. My town really hasn't played around with the other ranks, other than the more symbolic ones.

Just tested it in-game And it said "you do not have permission to assign own ranks"
