So when I come back to HC I plan on getting a razer orbweaver, I hear all their gaming keyboards/keypads have synapse where you can make macros?

Dose this work with herocraft class skills? Since they are / skills would I have to get the macro mod still?

Thanks and sorry for grammar/spelling on my phone.

i am sure there is some way to do it better but most of the ones based off keyboard / mouse macro input just open up the chat window to input the command just like you would. So there is a delay and it is pretty goofy to use except for like aoe and non combat skills.

I just went to using item binds until macromod is up, i find it a lot more responsive.

In my endorsers on trying to make this kind of things work, there is 2 main ways to how they imput the macro:
Send: This mimics the keyboard and "types" the macro out for you (Super slow, don't use it)
SendPlay: This is nearly instantaneous macro which SHOULD work with minecraft, but for some reason leads to problems. Using this type of cmd makes MC flip out and open your inventory of all things. (This is what the orbweaver most likely uses)

It's possible for the macro to work, but you will have to mess with the delay settings. For actual cmds I would use:
t/skill[Space](name)[Enter]

Thanks for the feedback!

@malikdanab can't quite understand what you are saying at the end, t/skill[space](name)[enter] is this something you bind to the keys on the orbweaver? Wouldn't it open the chat then execute the command? That would be a delay in pvp.

Like I said, the orbweaver probably uses the instantaneous cmd of "SendPlay". You literally wouldn't notice the input. The problem with the cmd is that it's TOO fast and MC doesn't like the input (That is why I said you will need to mess with the delay settings.)

t/skill[space](name)[enter] is the cmd if you are to type in the raw cmd, but I'm sure Orbweaver has a keylog recorder so all you would have to do is /skill (name) [enter]

[ ] These represent a key instead of physically typing "Space" and "Enter"

Still just confuses me as I know nothing about this xD so would I be able to use synapse to bind keys as efficient as macros mod or would I be better off just using that? Or dose macros mod not work with the orbweaver? (I probably sound really stupid *facepalm*)

It SHOULD work, but if you aren't able to figure it out you could wait a week or two when the mod is updated.

Heh I'd love to play in 1-2 weeks, but unfortunately I won't be back in the us till April (hopefully) I'm just trying to figure out what I'll be buying for my new setup hen I get back.

Thanks for the help :)

Oh yes and one more question I forgot to ask: I thought the macro mod was illegal? At least back in DG it was.

Macro haven Never been illegal. What IS illegal is using a macro to do stuff afk (Advertise/mine/spam/etc)

I currently have a Razer Nostromo. The macros do work, however if your delays are off you certain key strokes may not register and your /skill macro will end up /kill hence you die.

So it's basically last resort if macros mod isn't update, dose the macro mod still work with nostromo/orbweaver?

I wouldn't call it a last resort. I actually works quite well once you put the time in to get them right. But I rarely use mine tbh.

what delays are you using j2gay? Mine usually work but seem slightly off... I am using a razer naga... would be interested in seeing what delay you input.

thanks!

How are you guys setting them up on your naga's? I just did mine today and I have it set up so it opens the chat, uses the skill, then enter. Not very practical since it stops all movement.

When you say "it works quite well once you put the time in to get it right" what do you mean exactly?

I plan to get a razer naga 2014 as well and wanted to know if it has the same binding problems or (system) that the orbweaver has, or dose it work completely differently?

.05 for important characters like / and s then .009 for keystrokes and spaces with .019 just before enter and a key stroke length of .009. Mine usually work but are also as you said slightly off. And it does stop movement.

Conversation Prompted me to break out the Razer again and tweak my macros. Works great except when there is server lag. Then skils shoot slow or just kill you
