I enjoy playing Minecraft cooperatively (being charitable and not immature or griefing) and working together with others to achieve goals. I value humor and like making people laugh and have a good time. I am creative, inventive, and philosophical; I believe in making everything I build a work of art in some way --not solely functional. But I also put a premium on technology and practical functionality in my building decisions. In other words, I like to build things that look like they could actually exist in the real world to some degree.
I am eager to see what kind of advancements can be made in the compactness and complexity of my redstone devices using the custom system on this server. It also seems like the rules here will make the game experience more meaningful and enjoyable in the long run, due to them requiring more effort and care on the part of each player.
In summary, I'm easy to get along with, I learn fast, and I have a helpful, honest nature.

The portal room inside my base. Outside the portal room, there is a button that switches between deactivating my portal/turning off the lights/shutting the doors, and activating the portal/turning on the lights/and then reopening the doors. A privacy and security measure.
My Safe-T Incinerator. Safely destroys junk items by lowering a protective glass shield before releasing lava, waiting a second, then evacuating the lava before retracting the shield. Plays a pair of musical tones before and after, and the lamp blocks light up.
The bathroom connected to my master bedroom suite. Not visible here are the toilet in an adjoining alcove and the sink to the left.
My storage area. Nice, clear, and not visually boring. To the left (not shown) near my enchanting station is an anvil dispenser that automatically replaces my anvil each time it breaks.
I know grinders aren't allowed on this server, but here is a cave spider grinder I made using 12 spawners split between 2 connected spawn rooms. There are controls on the wall to shut off the water flow (like for maintenance or quiet), and to turn lamp blocks on or off to control spider production.
My enchanting table and bookshelf area. There is a button on the wall that can make pistons push 1 bookshelf at a time, up to 15 total, toward the enchanting table, to add to the max enchanting level, and a lever that can alternate between using the custom level of enchanting vs. full level 30 enchants. This is handy for increasing one's chances of getting certain rare enchants that are more likely at specific enchant levels below 30.

A 3x3 spiral piston door with double-extending bottom piston to also retract the glass block in the middle down into the floor at the push of a button. This door is between my Nether portal and the rest of the public transit system I have built in the Nether for everyone to use for fast, safe travel. All the outer walls are obsidian.
I call my transit system the NetherRail. This is one of the stations that leads to a major city. I designed and built all of this myself, using my own materials, as a free public service. I've used about 250 stacks of obsidian so far.
A better view of just how long the NetherRail system has become. In this section, there are four one-way tracks, to allow for bidirectional minecart travel between three different endpoints. I would upload another pic of what this beast looks like from the outside, but I've reached my attachment limit. I didn't upload any "behind the scenes" redstone circuitry pics either, for the same reason. Ah, well.
