Herocraft has about one pvp support class- healers. But healers mostly only heal. So what if theres a class that is purely support, and can only buff other people? Well, I'm suggesting that lost soul is turned into a support class that only buffs others. But, lost soul was never meant to be leveled! So, why not make it a "hardcore leveling" class. What I mean by that is 75% exp reduction, maximum of 20 heath (10 at level 1), and only able to use wood tools. But, with the "hardcore leveling" the abilities should be useful. Here are some examples:

Level 15 ability: Increases Target's health by 5 for 5 seconds. (mana cost: 15%)

Level 30 ability: Increases Target's damage by 3 for 5 seconds. (mana cost: 20%)

Level 40 ability: Increases Targets mana by 15 for 10 seconds. (mana cost: 30%)

Level 50 ability: Increases Targets health and damage by 7 for 15 seconds. (mana cost 70%)

Of course these are only ideas for the kind of buffs lost soul would use. I hope you give consideration to making this happen.

(Im sorry for making this sound strange, Im not really good at putting things exactly what I mean.)

Lost Souls aren't necessarily pvp classes are they? Maybe they can stay as they are but give a 2% xp boost to people in their party, a 2% health boost to people in their party, and a 2% damage boost to people in their party. That way they will be somewhat desirable to lug around! xD

Kain already said that Lost Soul was not meant to be levelled and he doesnt really want it to.

Why make Lost Soul useful when there are some actual specs and base classes that could do with being made more useful

While it would be nice to have another support class, and the ideas you've had for that sort of class are great - I don't think Lost Souls are the right place to put it. Lost Souls can be used as a punishment, or just as a joke to level. Richfish is right - why would you bother spec'ing if your current class was actually useful? IMO if you want more Support Classes, make an entirely new class. Or grant healers further buff abilities (Might is a good start for these). But not for Lost Soul xP

I always wondered what would happen if you reach Level 50 L.S., though...

Shadowhand, Hyped got level 50 lost soul a while ago lol. He got the LOST title. And was later banned for afking at spawners too much....

But oh well lol. Might be why you never saw the title though.

"Lost Soul" was only ever a placeholder for a null class value, the idea being that the player be forced into a position where they must choose a class. The community's fascination with the class is fascinating and funny at times (like Hyped's quest to max-level Lost Soul) but this kind of emergent gameplay isn't going to be supported by the leadership.

The way you said that sounds so militaristic, reminded me of Equilibrium xD

You know, adding some of these support class' skills to Crafter could make them a bit more formidable in helping out when scuffles break out. Their bodyguards would be buffed, friends and allies would have an edge, and the image that crafters are a burden during PVP could be leveled out a little bit.

If not though Enchanters, Healers, and Beastmasters could all benefit from having buff skills.

*cough* Crafters are crafters. If they get pvp abilities, I want some falsebook shit!
