Legal mod?

This mod seems epic by adding some new GUI features to make using potions better and gauging how much armor you have left easier.

What I would like to know is if this mod is legal or not. I really want to use it so just give me the ok if you think it's fine. If not, feel free to delete this thread.

=O Looks awesome! I really didn't like that potion effects normally only display inside the inventory screen, and that armor hearts are broken so you can never tell if its broken...

Hope I can get it to work with reis/imp chat/hd fix, that is, is the staff approves of it.

Just took a look at the class files from this mod and it is NOT compatible with improved chat. BUT WAIT. As a replacement for imp chat (if this mod is approved) I will use http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/680231-100-minecraft-console-v11-updated/ which was approved by Brutal because he set it as his status message once.
