What was happening was that a specced person was in my town, (full of unspecced people) and was basically camping for xp. He was demanding a 50 killstreak one time, level 55 another time, and then the other 75% of the time he demanded 500c a week. I did pe but all I got was a rather rude response saying to level and beef up Aurum's defenses.

I love how people take the opportunity of someone being abused as a chance to recruit for their towns... Regardless, assholes on the Internet are commonplace, they wont go away, so they have to be restricted. The problem is that people have different definitions of things, and a jerk move for one person may seem fair to another. This makes it hard for assholeness to be restricted on any public online service. The system has its definitions, and you can either accept them or try to change them. Hope you can lurk the forums and try to change things, but if not, I understand. I had fun playing with you. Good luck finding people with matching definitions, and chillin' with them. Toodles~

Well I hope your time off serves you well. We might not have known each other all too well in hc but I can honestly say I will miss you if you leave. I say you take some time off and come back when you're ready and next time around if you still have plans for your town build next to your buddies at valor. Well guess what buddy you need to wait to speak until you are more well informed. Iarbobray was a member of our town already on the Zeal map. He was one of our best members too. We're not some random town trying to get handouts, we're letting Bob know that he can always come back, as he was once a part of our group before. Our town is full as it is. We have as many as 4-5 people to a plot. Even though we're full, we'd always make room for a former Valor member

Bob I agree that time off is good. Just don't take, so long that everything changes so much that you feel overwhelmed. I had to take time off on zeal map. I was off for about a week. It helped a LOT

Al right this is ridiculous. For all who wish to know who it was, it was me, HollowSith. His area is perfect for mob grinding. I mean, perfect. He isn't an ally of the town so why not kill him? There isn't a rule on it, nor will there be. Everyone could just say, I was building, ban him. This is a hardcore server. Camping the town was just the added aspect of myself looking to level as quickly as possible. Low level players + mobs = good exp. I never once claimed to be good at pvp, especially when I kill the weak so often. It was never meant to prevent town creation, but purely if anything at all, slow it. Along with leveling.

Lorien has the whole map against it and as such why not assume his town would be any different? We are going to get roflstomped by towns where ever we go as we are hideously out numbered.. When we have our numbers, it's our newer players who won't take the time to just go level up. So we lose either way. I mean, with Greek, jmoney, kalkyte ect ect, vs. players who just started playing, like both of my brothers. Who's obviously going to win? lol, no competition. So again, why not try to stop the slaughter before it begins? Put your self in my shoes.

Now, Iar leaving is shitty, we all know that. A good player gone is a potential shitty player in his place. But you can't take it out on me when that's HIS decision. Regardless of my actions. He has the choice. He obviously has allies. Why not show your support to him, come and help, rather then bitch about it on the forums or try to suck him and his members into your own town...

Anyway, this town is non-pvp, there are better, less douchey ways to level...

Also, I don't kill random people. I kill TC, bounties and for self defense. All justifiable reasons. I also level off of PvE. Don't drag me into this.

I'm probably an idiot (and am) but it's not your fault at all, I have been thinking about leaving for some time before you started. Basically, just all your camping and refusing to stop just broke the last straw for me. Also, they've been trying to suck me in as their member for a while, since before the map, me leaving has nothing to do with them

BTW, even though I haven't seen anyone bashing you, if they do, shame on them.

And definitely NO ONE should be sentenced to a death. If you feel that strongly about people over an online game, then you really need this break. Go take a reality check.

You should have leveled up or gotten your allies to help you. He didn't camp you 24/7. He spent alot of time grinding mobs. You had plenty of time to build some sort of defense/lvl up, but chose instead to quit. The new map hasn't even been up a week so there was still months of play-time to get your town up off the ground.

Stop stereotyping all the TCs into one group. Stop making threatening remarks saying we should die slow and painful deaths. If that's how you act normally, then I'm glad you're leaving. I don't want someone making death-threats to myself or my guild over a video game. Thankyou.

It's a hardcore server - abandon the plot and go somewhere else - or join up with a more active town.

We, as staff, feel it unnecessary to step into the player politics on an open-creative-hardcore server. It goes against the hands-off policy unless;

1. Rules are being broken
2. Exploits in game mechanics to have an advantage
3. Gross misconduct

It is completely within the rules to prevent an up and coming town from starting successfully.


Do I personally like seeing this? No. Do I think people should band together against assholes who camp/stop builders? Yes.

First of all, that was a rather untasteful joke. Second of all, I really only hate the Treecreepers that are d-bags. The rest of them I feel are fine. Yes, I should of leveled up, or built a defense. But the problem is that I can't access the computer during the day, when I assume he wasn't on. When I was on however, was the times Aurum was being camped by him and other people (mostly him) so I had no time to level/build defenses. Also, my allies are on the other side of the map, making their own town. I didn't want to bother them. And yes, there is MONTHS of play time left, but I have been thinking about leaving for roughly a month before he even camped. Even if he didn't camp, someone would of just came up and broke the last straw eventually. I'm sorry for any offense I caused you.
