Bug io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection

Hello, starting just recently, whenever I try to log on to the Herocraft server i get the following message "io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection". There are times where I can log onto the server, however I lag A LOT and most of the time i end up getting kicked off with the message "connection lost". I have no idea why this has started to happen just yesterday, but I would really like to fix it so I can continue to play.
