I enjoy this mod. I can't wait to see how high my kdr will go =D I have always wished for a way to keep track of my number of kills. I plan to pvp more after heroes comes out again, although with a stone sword lol.

I kind of like the idea kain.... But i agree with weynard in some ways. One because I am the base of the ORE fund, and i love to pvp. Losing 10% of my money per death would be devestating. I already spread the money out and i am basically the kingdom's banker.

Secondly, once heroes comes out, im gonna be a crafter, so dying will not be easy to avoid in pvp situations, for leather armor just doesnt do the job. Im fine with losing a little money per death but 10% seems a little much.

But overall this mod seems like it will be fun. Might not pvp as often unless i give my money to a less pvp active citizen who i can trust. But still something good to implement

I like the idea of this mod, but if there is no way to lower your karma score other than being killed then it will not be effective. Eventually almost everyone will be an outlaw. Also this would hurt civilized pvp tournaments in the arenas unless there is a way to nullify karma gain/loss within regions.

And lastly in a situation like Greek. If it was possible for town mayors to have access to an acount separate from their own funds that acts just like every other players funds this wouldnt be a problem. All the "Kingdoms" money and be put into that account and it will not be subtracted from in pvp cases.

Just my thoughts.

You know what you need to do then greek get a banker who doesnt die a lot :icon_lol:

Yep, that was pretty much my point. Although i know the developer was discussing flagging/karma decay. Just not sure if it was actually implemented and able to be toggled yet.

I pretty much see the majority of people being outlaws since you'd have to actually go out and hunt down others to drop your own karma. Let's face it, the majority of people here don't do that. So you have the choice of not killing others, not caring about the karma, or go kill outlaws to reduce it.

I have one issue with this system, but perhaps it's already getting consideration: with the danger of money loss on death, but the (relative) safety of tombstones and locked chests, and now also the ability for players to take money on death, I'm worried that players will be too afraid to liquidate their assets. It'd be a shame if everybody hoarded all of their goods, or started using some inventory item for trading, because money is too vulnerable a target in PvP. What can be done to encourage players to keep cash on hand instead of items?

Just think of the profits to be had; killing unsuspecting players as they try to cash in their hard-earned gold, after completing a long and dangerous journey...

A main problem with this plugin will be if a player uses the /kill after that person kills them because It could potentially make a player lose a fortune of coins.


You could also make it kind of like Oblivion to where a murderer could pay off their murder toll at DHX or to an admin/banker/mod

Now we're talkin! However I do also agree 10% will devastate the richer peoples of the community. Can't it be a fixed amount? Like 150c? and if they don't have it you get whatever they do have. That way, if you are going to kill to make money, mass murder is the way to go! ;)
