Currently the information provided from /skills aren't very detailed. The mana, cast time, reagent cost and cooldown and range in particular are not told thus requiring users to refer to wiki or searching through the skill updates and make calculations. As Herocraft's dangerous environment requires your utmost attention at all times, alt-tabbing is dangerous while logging out to find skill information can be cumbersome for those who have poor memory.
I propose a better format for skill info that can be concise, consistent, informative and professional looking.
E.g currently /skills wizard at level 65 shows:
Wiz 1 Fireball: You shoot a fireball that deals 163 light damage and lights your target on fire.
Wiz 1 Potions: You are able to use potions!
Wiz 1 Scan: Reports the target's health.
Wiz 5 Icebolt: You launch a ball of ice that deals 90 to your target and slows them for 5 seconds.
Wiz 5 Replenish: You regain 10000.0% (23400) of your mana.
Wiz 10 Pulse: You deal 116 force damage to all nearby enemy.
Wiz 20 Entangle: Deals 1 damage and roots your target in place for 4.0 seconds.(Effect breaks when the target takes damage)
Wiz 30 Port: You teleport yourself and party members within 10 blocks to the set location!
Wiz 35 Bolt: Calls a bolt of lightning down on the target dealing 230 damage
Wiz 40 Fireblast: You fireblast the target for 150 light damage.
Wiz 45 Blink: Teleports you up to 12 blocks away.
Wiz 50 Megabolt: Calls down multiple bolts of lightning centered on the target that deal 170 damage.
Wiz 55 GroupTeleport: You summon your group to your location.
Wiz 60 Shock: Creates a storm around your target, dealing 35 damage to nearby targets every 5 seconds for 15 seconds.
Wiz 65 Arcaneblast: You arcaneblast the target for 300 light damage.
Proposed format or similar:
Wiz 1 Fireball: 20 MP, 5s CD. Projectile. Inflict 131(+32) light damage and burn your target for 10 damage per second for 5s.
Wiz 1 Potions:
Wiz 1 Scan: 1MP, 1s CD. Reports the target's name, class and health for 2.5s.(25 blocks range)
Wiz 5 Icebolt: 15MP, 6s CD. Projectile. Inflict 90 damage and slow your target by __ for 5s.
Wiz 5 Replenish: 1MP, 140s CD. Self. Restore 1000.0% (23400) mana.
Wiz 10 Pulse: 23MP, 10s CD. Self. Inflict 116 damage to nearby foes (within 5 blocks).
Wiz 20 Entangle: 16MP, 15s CD. Target. Inflict 1 damage and roots the target for 4 seconds. Ends when you or the target takes damage. (8(+6) blocks range)
