After reading a few other whitelist apps and the recommendations here is some additional information:

I played wow for the last 5 years and started playing minecraft january. I started on a private server with some friends and then began playing on honorcraft. Today the admins of the server said that they are scrapping the server for a new project and I began looking for a new server with many of the features that my previous server had (class based system and economy for instance). I remembered this server being mentioned in one of the many youtube minecraft videos I have watched and found it on a google search. After reading through the wiki I decided to apply to try this server first hand because it sounds very interesting and fun.
