Idea's for Samurai's.

I'd like to see a Seppuku skill. where the samurai can kill himself. giving his party increased damage and speed for short duration. whats a samurai without the means to regain his honour!

In all honesty, Samurai's are about One on One Combat. We single targets out and destroy them rather than killing all of our foes. I think our current layout to be better than this out of my own opinion aside from the passives. This is coming from the longest standing Samurai on Herocraft.

I remember that on the last map, I fucked shit up as a level 14 samurai. The only problem I had was getting to your enemy. But a class must have a weakness. So I agree with Victim on how the current layout is fine. But I swear, I remember how many times I pulled my hair out whenever I met a caster.

Tying to that, they're also warriors and should be hunting down rogues. Aside from maybe a deflect arrows skill, they do this pretty effectively when they can get in melee range of one.

While claimed in the wiki to be "fast and hard-hitting", only half of the statement is true. The Dragoon has his charge and jump, the Samurai should get his speed. Give him a quick long cooldown sprint to chase after ninjas, rangers, and bards and his role as a blademaster will start to see more usage. Doesn't bother the casters since they have the roots/snares.

Casters destroy warriors, product of the weapon used, but warriors should destroy rogues. If they can get in range...

I think warriors should be able to take down anyone who we go face to face with and can get near. We are frontal fighters where Casters are kiters, rogues are kiters and sneaky damage dealers both should attack from behind if possible for a kill. As for Healer, they are support and most likely should have a similar role to warrior unless with a team.

From all that I have read, I still see 1 problem, getting to the enemy. There are multiple solutions to that that currently exist those being, potions and buffs from bards and voting. There was another thred on how samurai's need a away of getting to the enemy, forget what it's called, but I suggested a "Lunge" sort of skill. We're the samurai "Lunges at the target, either increase speed for a short amount of time or, a short distance teleport and quick wepon Dmg. This would, I believe, solve the problems with samurai's forever.
