Are you able to give items spell abilities? For instance, a pick that has the effect of superheat (smelts on breaking) or an axe which has the timber mod effects (cuts the whole tree down)? Is it possible to add a hoe that has AOE effects? (hoes a large swath of land)

SO I made a thing, or tried to. What I was thinking was a two-handed axe, a heavy weapon. Since it is a heavier axe with a broad head, the swing speed would be lower (because the thing is heavy, and you have to lift it before you drop it on your target's head). And also since it is heavier, it will have a much higher stopping power (as in chop a man in half through armor stopping power), thus the damage increase and the slight armor pierce. I threw in the stamina drain also just for fun because hell if you got a giant axe-head lodged in your shoulder you would probably be a little tuckered out.

Sharpness 3 because why not, I'm not sure how it would work on top of the melee damage increase, or if it would. I wouldn't want it to compound too much and make it too strong. And Durability 10 because it is an axe and it really pisses me off that it breaks faster than swords in combat.

I made up a lot of the buffs and stuff so I am not sure how they would work (how because we have very capable coders and devs and I am confident they could pull it off).

Bottom line, what I just suggested is an example for another class of weapon. There should be different variations on the weapons (swords, axes, spears, scythes, sticks, etc.) to help foster different styles of play. This would be a heavier class of axe, with high damage and low attack speed, but comparable DPS to axes of different classes around the same quality.
