I Was Banned? :(

Why:Using an X-ray
My Reason:
I was recently banned on the Herocraft Multiplayer server, at the time i got banned i was happily mining and then a glitch appeared (not sure if it was a glitch) and a roughly 5x5 square of gold appeared! when this happened i was gobsmacked to a point where i started mining it then the floor beneath me disappeared and became lava??? After that i re spawned at my bed and that's when i was banned (note i was using a X-ray miner i saw a member on the site talking about it and how good it was and so i got one myself.)

Please help me with this and explain
i really like your server and learned alot, made some great friends built awesome houses and now im left stranded.

If i was in the wrong doing this, i swear i will smarted up and NEVER do it again.
i am terribly sorry for the trouble i have now caused.

It says in the rules, VERY clearly "Do NOT use hacks"... why would you think that using a program that lets you see through walls to get to diamonds and gold would ever be okay with us? That's called cheating. You're not a brand new player. Not to mention that while 5 staff members followed you around and watched you, Kainzo even said in alert chat "Xraying is illegal. Do not do it, you will be punished"... I'll let the other staff weigh in on this. But ignorance is no excuse. Read the rules or you'll get banned.
