have to deep clean anything it spilled on.. hot steam, etc. and anti bacterial carpet soap.
lots of it.. and scrub.. have to get it out of rug, upholstery and the padding under it... one hardees milkshake took me a few hours of cleaning to get it and that nasty smell outta my car.
i went over it once let it dry a bit and went over it again.
^^ Do that stuff
Clean it like you would a carpet in your house. If you can remove it from the car even better!
You're basically going to have to clean right through the material to the underside; there's milk residue on your floor under the carpet.
Another thing to use is hydrogen peroxide mixed with a tiny bit of dish soap. This is "the thing" to remove stains, however be careful as it could possibly damage the colour of the fabric (I haven't encountered that myself, but it is possible).
I had to deal with the same sorta thing when someone spilt a creamy coffee on the floor in the backseat of the car (was on the floor, not the seat). That smelled very bad, and very strong till I was able to get rid of it.
I've had good results with baking soda and vinegar. I bought a wrecked cop car that had sat in a field for a couple of years with no glass in it, and it reeked. I soaked the carpets/upholstery in baking soda and vinegar/cold water, then shampooed every thing, and it smelt clean again.
I heard from a friend that laundry detergent works well too. Which is good because I haven't got paid yet, and you are all suggesting things I don't have at the moment lol
