Heroes With Passives... Like a Boss

T

Trok

Warrior

Dragoon - 35% less damage from falling

Paladin - Gives 35% magic resistance from all spells ( Smite, Bolt, Boltstorm, etc. )

Dreadknight - 15% of all damage dealt by a Dreadknight, turns into a absorbing shield.

Samurai - Every kill ( player ) reduces cooldowns by 50% and restore 10 health.

Healer

Monk - Ironfist ( Already coded, but maybe more damage ??? )

Cleric - Clerics restore themselves 0.5 health per 5 seconds

Bloodmage - Bloodmages gain additional health for every player in a 20 block radius every 15 seconds. Stacking 3 times total.

Druid - Any plants/trees/wildlife around you restores hunger. ( Some people might abuse, but I could see how it could be balanced. )

Crafter

Smith - Tools degrade less

Alchemist - Chance of 2 drops per a ore/block ( Does not work on blocks placed... EVER )

Mason - While a player is to a Mason's back, Mason's run 15% faster.

Engineer - Requires less to make pistons ???

Rogue

Ninja - Basic attacks stack making your run speed faster

Beast Master - Eating food gains more hunger, and a few hearts.

Theif - Standing still for 5 seconds turns you invisible, movement or doing an action, i.g opening a chest or attacking a player will make you appear.

Ranger - Your bow has the chance of shooting 2 arrows instead of one. Doing double damage

Caster

Wizard - Every spell casts, Wizards restore 3% mana, stacking three times, making cooldowns less.

Geomancer - Restore 5% mana for every mob kill.

Necromancer - Dying Necromancers come back from the dead, restoring 30% of health, summoning 1 zombie, 3 hour cooldown. :)

Enchanter - Enchanters brought below 15 health active "Mana Sickness" slowing all players/mobs around a 2 block radius.

Hope everything could be coded, but if it cannot or it would be laggy, and anyone can give me feedback or ideas.

Very unhelpful feedback.

You have to stand still for 5 seconds to activate this. Smoke you can do on the run. Use common sense, if you see someone coming back into their base when you just raided them and couldn't recall out. Then you can go invisible.

Just because you see the word invisible doesn't make it negate the idea of Smoke. Please read.

ideas.

Left the ones I have questions about.

Monk - I believe iron fist was set to a skill because they were doing to much dmg as a healer class.

Bloodmage - do you mean more bonus health, or just a heal over time?

Thief - Would this work in day time, or only at night/dark areas?

Thief - Actually, that night time only part of it would work pretty cool.

Monk - Yea, too much damage. Maybe standing still (praying) regens health for them quickish? Takes like 5 seconds to activate first so you can't heal like that during pvp unless your smart?

Bloodmage - Since they gain power from blood, and living beings, it should be an actual health boost I think, rather than c1249832095 asking if it is a healing bonus. Just like 5 per person, for a total of 15. Some attacks will still wreck ya but you might have survived one more than normal.

Paladin gaining 35% mana resistance? lol no. to a caster it is terrifying to vs a paladin simply because they can take it. keep throwing spells at them and they have so much fucking health armor and alright heals that they can stay alive. I don't think they should have anything that buffs their defenses any more then they have now. For druid instead of all those things, why not just a sapling that is put down or something. Sapling that are put down by the druid restore food.

We are wanting to implement something called "feats" - a basic bonus to your class. In many ways these are already there just unwritten.

I say... this would make heroes more versatile, interesting, and fun. Though these seem to remind of of another game Cough*LoL Cough* Cough*

In most mmo's magic ignores armor and just rips through it. Though i've seen ALOT of problems with that setup.

I think a good pasive for paladins would be that the more mobs near them, the less damage they take from them. And a more viable agro skill, their current one sucks.

Some along the lines of an over time agro move would be better

Yeh when I wrote it I said "gain" instead of restore, I had to go through and change it, thanks for noticing.

i definitely think thief should get a pickpocket passive ability. That you get a portion of money of the person you killed.

Malo a passive is something you don't need cooldowns, mana, or activation to do. A pickpocket is a skill rather then a passive.

He said you get money when you kill someone. He didn't say anything about having to activate it or anything. Simply kiling someone would give a portion of there money to the thief. That would be a passive ability.

Trok that would be a passive, a pickpocket on death wouldn't need activation. Back at the end of the last map when warshard came out, we had that plugin where the killer got like 5% of the losers coins or something, and the more people you killed the higher amount people stole off of you when someone finally killed you.

For the most part I like it! Though I'd change paladin's magic resist to a resist to debuffs instead- for instance, immunity to stuff like poison or disease. But lord knows I'm not going to argue with it either way.

Oh sorry, I totally forgot about that part. I read it yesterday and only got around to looking at it.

ohh no I did read and don't jump to conclusions that I 'just because I saw the word invisible' I didn't read anything. I read all of it and when I saw the thief passive I immediately thought of smoke as it is the same thing only you cant move and you can use it an unlimited amount of time while smoke has something like a 10 second time limit but you can move....

actually, for the thief one, you could make it to where if they stood still for 5 secs in a low light level (so like at night or in a dark room) they would go invisible. This would make it less overpowered and more like their trying to steal something. This would only work if light lvl is sever side and not client side (i think its server side)

^^ It's server side. The crops need to be checked for light level before the server can let them grow, and the same for mobs.
