I noticed the recommendation of making the application longer:

I'm 28, live in Vancouver BC. Played tons of games in my past 20+ years. Wow, Conan, Warhammer, rift, and a number of indy rpgs. Found minecraft a few months after alpha was released and was hooked. Played single player until the first release of smp and haven't stopped this as my main rpg. I haven't ever played on a large well established minecraft smp, so I'm very much looking forward to playing with players that are as hooked to this game as I am. Even more than that playing with an admin team that has put so much obvious work into making some pretty crazy plugins!
