I basically already a the thread up! A really rough draft though...

People, don't be upset about the new map. This will be great for people (motley new members) to make new friends because of all the new towns and projects people will be making. It will give a chance for people to help and meet people. That's a big part of the fun of Minecraft. Once you guys start playing you will realize it's not so bad. Ask all the older members, they know, they'v been threw wipes. This will be FUN!

Townships will be run by a plugin. No forums posts will be necessarily.

Thus we won't have to wait for anything but the plugin which is in the release.

Threads still seem necessary. The official township section is a great way to get members.

I'm still keeping my town's thread though.

Do you know if townships will be a claim land system like factions or will towns get a set amount of land like HC 2.7?

I'm still creating my township thread on the forums. New players need to know what towns are in store for them.

Because of an awesome friend, this notice was given to me 4 days ago. Prepared basically everything for the new map. So pumped!
