If I were a member of staff, I might be able to tell you.
All I know is that they said they would take the server down to mass whitelist people then bring it back up.

So I get a "Failed to login: error" message. But the server is up and running, with 62 players online. This is all the information I have. *Hopes for an easy explanation*

I believe the login server is down Matt. So the people in are safe, but others can't get in until it's up.

Ugh, I hope this doesn't last. But at least now we have that /login plugin so the server can be in offline mode if need be, right?

I'm now getting a 503 error code, so it's definitely server-side, either Herocraft or Mojang.

EDIT: Aha! I'm in.
