I'll be one of the following;

Geomancer/Smith
Geomancer/Mason
Wizard/Smith
Wizard/Mason

If you choose smith, are you choosing it simply for the smith abilities or is there some way in which smith combos well with casters?

Anyways, I'm going ranger (again) and alchemist for those awesome splash potions + chainmail.

I still haven't any idea why Alchemists can make chainmail.

But since they do, Samurai/Alchemist.

I dunno, I like Smiths. Repairing, etc.,
Plus, guild I'm in will need a Smith for Diam. Tools/Armor, come to think of it.

Hmm I am going ranger for sure, but undecided on profession. If I go alchemist I get health potions for pretty cheap, if I go farmer I get infinite wolves :0

As ranger you get infinite wolves as well, since all you need to summon one is a bone. And you can't tame wolves in herocraft, as far as I know...

It seems like a lot of people are going with the farmer profession. I'm probably not going to go with that because of how cheap the farmed goods will become. That is just my opinion.

I am planning on going one of the following -

Dragoon:Merchant
Samurai:Enchanter
Bard:Enchanter

If enchanting doesn't get nerfed that bad, I will stay an Enchanter, but if it does, I will be a merchant or smith most likely.

I am mostly going with the alchemist right now with being able to use potions. I think the tide of a pvp battle could change with a alchemist.

I'm having a hard time deciding between Dragoon/Smith and Dreadknight/Mason. I really like both classes, haha.

@TheMormon He was talking about logic, not how they make chainmail in-game.

@Dazureus If you think about the crafting recipe for chainmail in Minecraft (which doesn't make sense either), it makes sense that only an Alchemist would be able to craft fire together into a metal.

I'm going Samurai/Smith, I played on the test server a bit as that combo. 1 diamond to completely repair my sword, bladegrasp and inversion are KILLER, smith gets me flameshield for more anti-caster capabilities, and I can decon iron armor I get from pvp victories into iron ingots for bladegrasp. :)

Also, I noticed that mortalwound and bleed to a fair amount of damage if stacked together. Add bladegrasp and you're pretty much dead. :D

Bleed and Mortal wound will have their damage normalized (bleed does like 30). Smiths are going to have flameshield removed due to it being a combat skill.

Now, what about this: Wizard/Enchanter (or Alchemist or Farmer). According to the Wiki Enchanters deal 5 damage with diamond picks. Wizards only deal 3 with their diamond hoes. There's a +2 to your melee if that information is correct.
