Chaotic strength is worth using. If you get a stun off of Great Combustion you can use chaotic strength to burst them down

Kinda sorta not really

And for the chaotic strength argument:
Chaotic strength adds 15 strength which is 5 more damage per swing of the axe
But you loose 25 intellect witch is taking 49.3 damage off your inferno orb.

Stun lasts 2 seconds which is 4 autos = 20 more damage if you activated chaotic strength.
Or you could just leave it off, spend that mana on an inferno orb and deal 150 damage + autos.
Maybe you are feeling generous and you auto + maim + darkblade but no inferno orb. Congrats you just did 60 extra damage (20 more than just casting inferno orb) and wasted your slow/interrupt on a stunned target

TLDR: chaotic strength sucks and isn't worth the 90 mana
