i downloaded the modpack so then i went to see if it worked. Yurns out it screwed up m=y mine craft. It wont let me play at all cause when i login the screen stays black. I tried to redownload mc so that worked. Then i tried to download the modpack again. I did and it screwed it up again. Also it doesnt even have the mod pack in my mine craft folder so i cant take it out. WHAT DO I DO?

Install it via TechnicLauncher, it's much easier.

Actually - did you download the Technic version and just plunked it into your minecraft.jar/mods folder, or did you take the manual installion version? If you took the technic version, you just need to download TechnicLauncher.
You could also choose to use the installer. I can't really help you that much, though I bet gabizou could help you with this.

i deleted minecraft all together then re-downloaded it i dont want to mess anything else up so ill just leave it now that its working[DOUBLEPOST=1367187219][/DOUBLEPOST]should i try technic? i didnt understand what to do for that one so i didnt do it.

To use our modpack:
1) Download the Technic Launcher from the link above
2) Set up Technic as required (input directory, doesn't need to be changed)
3) On the left side, click the button "Add New Pack"
4) Copy this link: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/heromodpack
5) Click "PASTE" in Technic Launcher
6) Click "Add Modpack"
7) Enter in login details and everything else is taken care of!


NOTE: If you have Parsing Error - Re run Technic Launcher with Admin (Right click TechnicLauncher > Run as Admin!)[/qyote]
