I don't mean to come off as harsh and picky here, however I sort of doubting that. Your friend also put 13 in his application, but 14 on his profile, and I don't think that both of those would end up being typos. It's completely fine if you are 13, and a staff member can set your forum profile age later.
So, just to clarify all this once more, are you really 14?

Yes sorry still kind of getting used to being fourteen my friends birthday is ten days before mine. I know it has been a while since our birthdays but still getting used to it. Sorry for the inconvenience. I can clarify that we are both 14 born in 1999 not 2000. Mine was a typo but I think my friend's was just human error. I will talk to him soon. Thank you very much.

When you are whitelisted you can go to Bastion, the normal spawn/whitelist world. You also gain the ability to join official towns, as well as other miscellaneous features.
