Having trouble connecting

I have been trying for nearly the last half an hour and I have had no luck connecting to the Herocraft Minecraft server. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I tried deleting and recreating the server on my server list and that still did nothing. All it does is give me an error that states "incorrect server address" and "end of stream" <- this one happened before I tried reseting the server hostname/ip. Please help!

The server has been down for the past 4 hours or something, no idea why. I kind of have a vague idea, something like this happened before but I can't really explain it

Yeah funniest thing is that it shows there are 55 players

Yeah, Minestatus is still registering it as online for some reason.

Those 55 players arn't in game at the moment. (one of them is me) and i cant join ;D

I was mod on a server and helped around before, this happen often and the only thing that helped was to restart the server

Server did not crash - but stopped accepting connections. This was a BUKKIT error.

I've rolled back some plugins - redid some java things and hoping it wont happen again.
