There are 2 parts to it,​

the cloud city and the underdeep.​

Township Information:​

Welcome to Oasis! This is a PVP oriented neutral town within the OS Kingdom. It is also an architectural township we have had plans for, for quite some time now. Originally setup to be a PVP Fortress just south of the Capital City, Newerth, it is located farther south just a bit off the coast of an island past the murky southern swampland, jungle, and desert. ​

(That said, PVP is not the only objective to the town, we are just as dedicated to building a magnicent city, so if PVP is not your thing, don't let that detour from visiting! There is a reason why some call it a death trap)​

LORE:​

Far out into the southwestern lands of the realms there lie many humid, misty swamps, dangerous jungles and hot, dry desert areas. These wastelands are surrounded by oceans and tropical island chains. Out beyond these areas lies far into the mists beyond the swamps a resort island known as the Oasis. However, the water around this beautiful island hide dark mysteries and hidden agendas.​

Busy with traffic, the island of Oasis gets many visitors.. however no one knows where they go. Seemingly into the night they slip into the shadows and trees of the island, only to re-appear days later. Some have thought of this as a sort of safe haven for pirates and miscreants, others have thought of it as a​

death​

trap.​

Little do they know.. deep beneath the ocean lies mystery and danger.. the Underdeep. A magnificent dome city dedicated to rituals beyond the sea, and the twisted, dark shamanistic ways of the Old Ones. It's streets dimly lit beneath the Dome the city is full of danger at every turn. Cloaks and daggers of every form. Evil and Good in disguise. Seawater could crush you at these depths and so the city is maintained by one of the greatest Architects known to the denizens of Old, Symbolite. It is also said this place is the Cloud Prince's residence and where he practices his studies, and arcane arts in his private cloud fortress. For a fee, they say he will instruct you at his discretion.​

Rules:​

• Follow all standard rules of the Herocraft server.
• Listen to the King and Queen at all times.
• Listen to the Mayor/SIC at all times.
• Build restrictions - Do not build outside your plot limits and Do not dig down into town farms below. If you have any questions please consult Sidgil or Xexorian.
• Do Not steal/grief/attack other citizens of Oasis.
• Do Not steal/grief/attack citizens of allied towns.
• No mines from your basement without permission from the Mayor or SIC.
• Citizen's houses must be aesthetically pleasing.
• Cover all your non-locked chests and block doorways with dirt blocks.
• Most important rule - Have Fun!!
• 2 weeks inactive with no prior info about such inactivity warrants warning of player by PM and sign on house.
• 1 month inactive with no prior info about such inactivity warrants removal and seizure of assets.

If player submits a leave of absence notice, that can be dealt with on a case by case basis.​

What ever agreements made on each case shall be honored.​

We welcome those who are intrigued by the loose and creative theme of our town. We also welcome pvpers to help us defend our town, and the Kingdom against raiders. This is the PVP township for Newerth/OS so recruitment may be filtered by such factors.​

How long have you been on the server?: I used to play it a lot but school started and i had other things to do so I got busy. Now I have started to play it again.
What Class and Profession are you or plan to become?: Either warrior or caster. I'll be what ever Oasis wants me to be.

Why do you wish to join Oasis?: I've been inactive for the past 7-8 months, only logging into HC once every 1-3 weeks to chat for some time. My old town Verstad became the root of my inactivity, as everything I logged into "my" mountain I felt like there was nothing to do, alas there was a lot to do. Old work kept me from doing anything new, thus I've decided to join a new town.
I've been looking towards the kingdom of OS, as I've been quite close to it and it's members since Zeal. Then Oasis popped up, a new town with a lot of stuff to do, the theme and purpose of the town intrigues me.

How did you hear about Oasis?: I was in NW's channel and found out that OS had a new town, lead by Dielan and Sidgil. I used to know a town named Oasis in Zeal, lead by Aerokii. Although the name is non-related to it, I thought it could prove as a good way for me to get back into HC - and since summer vacation started yesterday, I got more time on my hands.

How long have you been on the server?:
I've been a member of Herocraft since 10th of Juli, 2011.

What Class and Profession are you or plan to become?:
I am currently a mid-level Necromancer, specced as a Miner. I intend to stay like this, as I've already spent over 5K coins on respeccing - most people know me as indecisive when it comes to classes..

Past towns?:
Verstad has been my only town on this map, as I've been there from the start of this map. Making it the glorious thing it is today(^.^)

What do you believe you can contribute to the town?:
I can contribute with my silly smalltalk in the chat, a hand in any building project. It is a new town with a lot of open projects after all.
Aswell as an usable PvPer in raids and defenses, with TNT and my trusty wooden hoe I shall prevail. Or end up blowing myself to smithereens.

If Mormon's little warning doesn't sway you, then I would be happy to accept you into the town! This town has a very closed recruitment policy - due to general incompleteness. I simply don't have a place for new recruits to go! With your help, we can build faster and get things done! I have some errands to run at this time IRL, but I will be online within a few hours. Get with me or Sidgil in game to get the low-down on what we are up to building wise. We'll add you to the LWC iron door entrance and all that stuff. We are big fans of TS3.

Given your different timezone, if you ever want to transfer to a different OS town at any time, I wouldn't be offended. Just keep that in mind

I might be able to work something out. At the very least I can port you nearby and port you to LO's spire so you can recall back and forth.
