Position applying for:
Guide

Age|Timezone:
17, Mountain Standard Time.

How long have you been on Herocraft?:
19 months (Whitelisted January 25, 2011). Most of my time here was spent on my previous account, which will not be publicly named. Kainzo is aware of this.

Why do you think you would make a good guide?:
Simply put, I love Herocraft. It has become a second home to me - I've logged more hours here than I'd care to admit. In that time, I have accumulated a great deal of respect for the Herocraft community - it's truly one of a kind. My goal in being a member of this community is to help it grow and prosper in any way I can, and I believe the guide position is a great tool help accomplish that goal.
In the past, I held the proctor position for a few months until school stole away all of my free time. I loved it, having the opportunity to have the first influence on new players' experiences of Herocraft. Unfortunately though, being a proctor is tedious work and to be honest it just isn't for me. I much prefer assisting players with Herocraft related matters, and I do it actively when I am online - not only in help chat, but any time a player needs a bit of help.
I feel that I would make a great guide because I would do my best to actually fulfill the job description. Whether I get the job or not, I still plan on helping any player who needs it, new or old. I also look forward to going the extra mile - I plan on physically traveling to and assisting new players to give them a better chance of surviving their first few days of Herocraft. To be honest, we don't have the best new player retention rate. I believe this is partially because it is quite difficult to get started in an unforgiving world like Herocraft without someone to watch your back or give you a few pointers. I hope I can influence just a few, if not more, new players to stick it out.
I hope I am considered for this position. It would truly be an honor to be given the chance to serve the community in this way.

Any additional information you would like to tell us?:
I'm a senior in high school who is taking way too many AP classes (5). I have an average of 6 hours of homework a night, and that's if I'm lucky. When I do have free time, there's a few things I enjoy doing. I love programming, it's great. In my opinion, it should be taught to everyone starting in grade school because it's such a valuable skill to have in our day and age. I also love reading, though I haven't had much time to read any books lately. I mostly read articles about sciency stuff online. Currently, I'm absolutely obsessed with Breaking Bad. After I finish typing this application I'm going to go watch the most recent episode :D. I also enjoy running; I try to run at least 20-24 miles a week. It helps me clear my head after a stressful day. I'm sure that this contained more extraneous information than you ever wanted to know about me, so I'll end it here.
Regards,
Davros_

As of September 13, I am still interested. I will bump this thread on January 25, 2013 (my 2 year anniversary.) if I don't get a reply by then.

As S.Guide I'm going to suggest you be given the position of Guide.
I feel you've been around long enough, and could do some real good in this position. Hope to see you soon!
