Good, Neutral and Bad Towns?

Hey I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting, and I have to go very soon, but I just wanted to ask what Good, Neutral and Bad (I think it's called, or Evil?) towns are? What does it mean exactly? I'm a bit confused, if you could help me out it would be very appreciated, cheers.

Towns are not requires to post there alignment, and when they do it's what they consider themselves, with some loose standards.

Ahhhh ok thank you, it makes a lot more sense now..lol

More often than not, it's completely meaningless anyway. Neutral means we do what we want, evil means we do what we want with prejudice, and good means... well, we don't have many "good". But from what I can tell, it means you can only retaliate for attacks, and attack evil.

Not sure what "revamp" will include, but looking forward to it!
