As you know I was a total n00b at this game and if I tried again would still be a noob(zeal cleric c12095) my point is.

During my 8 Month hiatus I learned some stuff from balanced games.

TF2 is probably the most balanced game ever, every class is OP in its own way.

Why try to balance all classes to one level?

Why not this. ( i havent played minecraft in 8 months so don't make fun)

-Level to level 50 to max

5 classes

Rogue- (thief, ninja, bard, forget last one)
Warrior (dragoon, paladin, samurai, DK)
Healer - (cleric, monk, druid, forget last one)
Caster - (wizard, geo, beg, necro)
Crafter ( masson, smith, forget others)

They have some decent PvP to begin with say fireball, use of sword, kick etc.

At 30 they get a good skill.
At 45 they get a good skill
50 they get a good skill.

Therefore making each class good in their own special way while giving each player a chance to instead of fighting 24/7 having a chance to just settle down and build.

From playing TF2, I see what you mean. All classes there can dominate any other class (except pyros trying to kill heavies... good luck, heh). However, this is not the way Herocraft is intended to be. While both HC and TF2 are pro team gameplay, HC requires often intense diversity in large fights. Not to mention the balance that needs to be created.
