General Questions Thread

These are just some questions. Some few questions that I have yet to hear a good answer from. From the Admins or Mods, or maybe just players. These are just questions, nothing to major. If you want to answer one, just quote it and write an answer. The reason these are general questions is because they cover the wide range of topics there are in Herocraft. Not just about rules, some about townships, shops, ect. I would presume most of these would not be on the Wiki also:

Question: Are you allowed to ask a player to stop commenting on a thread that you have created? Like this one? If I were to ever get someone I don't like comment on thius thread, can I formally ask them to not comment? Nomatter who they are or what reason, just as long as I am formal and no: OMGZ GTFO NERD.

Question: Can you steal valuable blocks (Gold Blocks, Gold Ore, Iron Blocks, Iron Ore, Diamond Blocks, Diamond Ore, Lapis Ore and Lapis Blocks),that have been placed down already, from anywhere on the server you have access to? Like your own town or someone elses town? Or a house in the wilderness? (Don't worry I have no intention to do this to the town I am in! )

Question: Is it legal to lure someone, from where ever they are, into a trap? Like a lava trap created by masons? Like, to say in /ch o that you need help, get someone to come, and kill them?

I'll answer what I can, some of these may not be iron clad since it can be a little tough to keep up with the rules sometimes!

First off, it should not be legal to take those rare blocks from town. The rules, as they were stated, suggested that the only place you couldn't steal from was town hall. It was later determined that the wording betrayed the intent of the rule, and if I can find this post later I'll link it in an edit for you. The intent of the rule is, you should not be able to steal blocks from towns. But I'd love for an admin/mod/founder to come and confirm, deny, or clarify this.

Next, there are indeed legal floating items. The rule of thumb is, it needs to look like its magically held aloft. How to accomplish a look like this, I'm not 100% sure- I've heard of projects/towns like skyforge using such methods. But if it doesn't look magical or wasn't like that when the map was created, it shouldn't be floating at all.

Chests shops can not be used for storage. There's really nothing more to say on the matter.

Internet ebonics are also known as "poop". I'm not comfortable repeating them here, but to get the basic idea, saying things like "(adjective) (noun) is (adjective)", which in this case may deal with cats who are long, or screaming "THIS IS A SMALL GREEK CITY STATE FAMOUS FOR ONE PARTICULAR BATTLE" except shortening that last part to one word is also a internet e-bonics.
Edit: Oh for christ sake I'm not even allowed to identify what we're not allowed to talk about. It starts with an M and rhymes with "eems".

Response: Yup. But if you do, of course, you have to deal with the consequences.

Response: Completely fine.

Response: Nearest I can tell, it has to be intended to hover. Some random house cannot, but if it's designed to be a floating house, chances are it's okay.

Response: This was actually a thing before we got LWCs on the new map. I believe that somebody gave a ruling that it was abuse of the chest shop skill to do so.

Response: Internet slang, particularly poop (eM-eE-eM-eEs) or really annoying chatspeak.

You can ask whatever you wish. Players only have to follow staff directions/rules on these forums.

Yes, stealing is legal EVERYWHERE except town halls and Zeal.

Any afk macros are illegal.

Legal, as long as it is not in a no-pvp area.

The structure must have support or risk being demolished by staff.

Yes, you may set your prices at whatever you like. Good luck selling anything.

roflmaobbq, u.m.adbro, etc. Any ebonics in general also. Anyone on this server should be fluent in the english language. Anyone who is not doesn't belong on this server.

Yes. You may be blacklisted by the community, however.
