Not really a bug;

Viewable from the dynamap, possible reason for lag. IDK, I'm not a programmer.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Main concern is probably making sure to find & remove any that are constantly making the map size bigger like that one, a few blocks moving around won't even come close to the amount of lag made by using a single skill or certain townships commands etc.
