Bug Fire not giving the pyromancer a kill

it seems when i kill a player and my fire gets the last hit on them, the kill doesnt go to me but i still get XP from it. this is a big bug for a pyro since the whole time im fighting, the other person is on fire :(. its a big deal in the DM too since alot of kills dont go to me when i kill someone.
