Bug farming carrots

I'm currently a farmer and I've been farming carrots and wheat. wheat drops souls but carrots don't, is this intended?

I think so, Ive never had souls drop from Carrots, Potatoes, mellons or pumpkins Ever, and every approx. 750 wheat I get a soul. This is pre and post New map. I think its intended unless no ones cared to bring it up yet.

Well I guess to make the profession more attractive to players souls need to drop from other things than wheat. As a farmer we don't make much money from doing our profession

I may be wrong, but I think carrot and potato soul drops may have been removed in Haven because of an exploit.

...Or it's just a bug.

Only wheat drop souls (extremely rare), but in my opinion all crop should have a chance to drop souls.
