Though I have only tried questing in T6 Dungeons, whenever you proceed to kill the enemies needed, no progress is recorded and preventing me to complete the quest. This was not happening when I had logged in at around 5am this morning.
Note: I've also noticed that the monsters go well beyond their boundaries or what seemed to be their boundaries. Another thing about a mob in particular. The "Mechno H.D.U." in Dark Palace, whenever it fully casts Heat Seeking Missile, the spell seems to follow right on top of you never exploding/finishing and creates a lot of particle effects which in my case causes quite the frame drop.
I started noticing all of this when I had the ability to log on at around 3pm. (Eastern Time (US & Canada))
I'll double check the config for the HSM, it should be the same as the other particles, IIRC the only difference is that the particle used is the Lava particle, the amount is the same as the rest however. It could be that the lava particle creates multiple particles in a 'wake' type effect. I don't notice these things on my higher end computers so, thanks for the feedback.
The quest bug could probably be fixed by exiting the game and logging back in, have you tried this yet? If that doesn't fix it, let me know and I'll take a look later tonight. Also, it would be nice if you knew the NPC name or took a screenshot of where it is, I can use the information since Kainzo implemented those and I'm not quite sure which one it is offhand.
Another thing, if the server was lagging somehow the particles could loop and lag you out, but something seems fishy with that whole 'never exploding/finishing' part.
I have a few theories on it, one could be the collision box was bugged out somehow with where you were positioned. Were you standing still when this happened? that would answer that question pretty concretely. Since if you were, it could've been having an issue 'finding' you depending on whatever you were standing on. This could be a bug the mythicmobs plugin developer has overseen or not been reported back on.
Another is that you were deliberately letting it chase you for a long time. The missiles have a maximum range (from the mob) so if you ran straight away from the mob you would have a chance of evading it, another way is to force the missile to collide with a block or corner. Let me know if this is not working correctly.
I have also noticed that in some rare cases mobs were not leashing immediately when they hit their leash range limit, I think this has to do with reducing lag somehow, but it should leash eventually or pretty soon after leaving it's range. Most mob spawners are set from 8 to 24 blocks. In some cases these are higher for the more open dungeons, and smaller for the more closed dungeons.
